The mission of Friends of Camp Mak-A-Dream, Michigan Chapter is to support the mission and goals of Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana by providing strategic, financial and marketing support for specifically chosen projects that will further the growth and advancement of Camp Mak-A-Dream, a cost-free camp program for children and young adults with cancer.
The Michigan Chapter provides a cost-free camp experience and often times transportation for Michigan residents to attend the camp. Campers live throughout the state - Detroit to Grand Rapids to Traverse City to the Upper Peninsula!
The Michigan Chapter has one full-time employee, plus numerous volunteers who help with fundraising events, office work and camper recruitment. The board of directors is comprised of local members who volunteer their time and services.
