About

The mission of Friends of Camp Mak-A-Dream, Michigan Chapter is to support the mission and goals of Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana by providing strategic, financial and marketing support for specifically chosen projects that will further the growth and advancement of Camp Mak-A-Dream, a cost-free camp program for children and young adults with cancer.

The Michigan Chapter provides a cost-free camp experience and often times cost-free transportation for Michigan residents to attend the camp. Each year we recruit campers from throughout the state, including Detroit to Grand Rapids to Traverse City to even the Upper Peninsula!

The Michigan Chapter has one full-time employee, plus numerous volunteers who help with fundraising events, office work and camper recruitment. The board of directors is comprised of local members who volunteer their time and services.
