Camp Mak-A-Dream awarded $10,000 from The Art Van Charity Challenge!
On October 11th, 2010 Camp Mak-A-Dream was awarded a check for $10,000.00 as part of the Art Van Million Dollar Charity Challenge! CMAD was one of 600 local charities who applied for a grant and was one of 50 to be chosen for this honor. A presentation was made at the Art Van headquarters in Warren, Michigan and Board member Connie Jacob joined Executive Director Pete Grimes for the check presentation from Art Van Elslander and David Van Elslander.
The money will be used to continue our mission of sending children, teens and young adults to Camp Mak-A-Dream in Gold Creek, Montana.
